Default Greetings from a new fan!

This Jan., out of great curiosity surrounding this amazing band, I checked out Wheels of Steel, and loved it. However, the album that really got me hooked on Saxon was Into the Labyrinth; it was one of the absolute greatest albums I've ever heard. So, I then proceeded to get Strong Arm, Denim, Power, and Crusader, greatly enjoying them, especially Strong Arm and Denim and Leather. From then on, I've been making progress gathering up Saxon's albums, now owning 10 out of their 15 (I listened to Innocence through Destiny on iTunes, and I found them to be extremely weak, and since they are so removed from the Saxon sound, I don't count them as true Saxon albums; however, I say that everything else they've done is brilliant :P). My current quest is to attain Saxon, Dogs of War, Metalhead, Killing Ground, and The Inner Sanctum. As for other bands I'm into, I love 80s thrash, especially Megadeth, Slayer, Overkill, Testament, Metallica and Sepultura. I'm also a big fan of Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Gamma Ray, Blind Guardian and Motorhead.

Hi and welcome.
I see you mention Gamma Ray. They are certainly one of my faves.
