We did that for the 30th anniversary tour

Surely that's a reason NOT to release it

yeah this would be great, Fingers i think that was st georges day 2008 shepherds bush it certainly was amazing show, id love to see a few shows with extravagant stage production and the eagle along with carefully selected songs from old era and modern era thus making something exceptional for us anoraks to be honest theres some fantastic songs from all the albums that dont get aired, i would happily drop wheels of steel and strong arm or denim and leather as much as i love them in favour of others.

Id like to have a saxon concert dvd where you could switch between a member of saxon at will that would be cool. Just by pressing whatever button on ye remote we could choose to watch biff all concert or nigel etc etc. But still have the option of watching the concert in normal view as well. Awesome. All saxon concert dvd should be made with this option. And if they decide to re release any past dvd in concert this option should be made available.

not a bad idea, i thought there was some crabby camerawork on some songs on the heavy metal thunder live dvd ,like at a crucial part when paul or doug were due to do the solo the camera would be on the amps or looking at the floor and in some places camera just a bit too close or too far away showing same angle too often, camera guys pull finger out next time also nigel's shots werent as good as i like to see.

I think this is a great idea. I've got several DVD's where something similar can be done and it really works. I might even learn some of Nigel's secrets!!

Yes, that would be great. I hate it when a guitar solo is played and you don't get a good visual of the guitar player, but someone else. Apparently not every director knows what is important when you film a hardrock/metal concert.
