Listening to the Dark Forest LP (a new British band that draws inspiration of many NWOBHM bands, most notibally Iron Maiden and Satan, Saxon, Holocaust and Tredegar as well as English Folk music - well worth the listen and well worth finding the album on Amazon

I am currently listening to Zakk Wylde playing this tune - was a bit surprised, but perhaps I should not be too surprised - I use to be surprised what music metal gods love, but these days I'm not

Zakk Wylde, in my view, is an amazing musician, it is a pity about his vocals is nowhere near perfect unlike his talent on various instruments

Fear Factory: Mechanize (4 out of 4 stars) *Release of the year, for me.
Danzig: DethRed Sabaoth (3.75 out of 4 stars) *Best Danzig release, bluesy.
Deftones: Diamond Eyes (3.75 out of 4 stars)
Bleeding Through: Bleeding Through (3.5 out of 4 stars)
Coheed and Cambria: Year Of The Black... (3.75 out of 4 stars) [I]*The RUSH of 2010.

Great year for music!!!! Also check out In This Moment and the new Korn...Good stuff.
