Default St George's Day Live CD Release.

Saxon will release a double live album titled St George’s Day – Live In Manchester on March 17, and they’ve described the recording as a “hidden treasure”.

The NOWBHM icons have a tradition of playing a show every April 23, celebrated in England as St George’s Day. The gig in question took place during their Sacrifice world tour last year.

Produced by frontman Biff Byford, and mixed and mastered by Andy Sneap, St George’s Day – Live In Manchester will be available on CD and as a digital download.

I noticed 3 of the 6 comments on the Classic Rock site are about the lack of vinyl. I agree. There should be a vinyl addition.

I was there, and a fine night it was. As a English man 23rd April is my day & I was very happy to share it with Saxon & the Saxon army, this is a CD to get & play when I want to remember happy days. See you in Preston next Saturday

Oh the irony of releasing a St Georges Day CD on St Patrick's Day
