Rhapsody of Fire on Wednesday night. I'm not a huge fan of theirs, but this is apparently their first U.S. tour ever so I figured I should go because it might be their last. This is the version of the band with Fabio Lione on vocals, not the version of the band with Luca Turilli.

I don't know what they are like with the new guys but I saw them last year before they split into two groups and they were fantastic. I also saw Fabio as stand in vocalist for Kamelot last year and he has a superb voice but then again I've always liked Rhapsody/ Of Fire. Not so much in the UK but in mainland Europe they have a huge following. Let us know what you think and have a great time.

I also saw Fabio as stand in vocalist for Kamelot last year and I thought he did a great job! I'll make sure to post a short review after the show, thanks for the well wishes...I'm just thankful to have a band like this coming to Minnesota, we're lucky to have a local promoter who works his tail off to get European metal bands like this to come here (hint hint Saxon, please come to Minnesota on your next U.S. tour!!!).

Very Awesome Band, Rhapsody(On Fire). I´ve got several albums of them and also solo Albuns of Luca. I was very disappointed when he left the group.

Ah yes but have you heard any of Luca's Rhapsody yet. I'm looking forward to the album but have heard a couple of songs and I think you'll be happy again!!

Now we have Luca Turilli's Rhapsody AND Rhapsody of Fire, Yes it's weird, and they are supposedly all still mates (Their drummer was initially going to be in both bands until they all realised the schedules wouldn't work) but we will essentially get two Rhapsody Albums instead of one every couple of years

Of course I'm not saying it's a good thing, it might all go horribly wrong, and as we know well here, there are plenty of groups that do a similar sort of thing!!!! and it causes a lot of hostility, I don't know what caused the split in the first place but this all just seems a bit different from the usual arguing thing. You never know it might actually work

Yes, Rick, see it from this side it will be good. We have two Rhapsodys now.
I haven`t heard new stuff of Luca so far. Where have you find it?
On You Tube I can only find the older ones, which I have got.
But I´m quite sure I will buy Ascending To Infinity.
I WIll be good. I´sure.
