Default Fellow SAXON Fans!

Lend me your beers!

Or something similar Saxon were the highlight of my first metal festival a few years ago when they headlined bloodstock03. Since then I've been to as many gigs as I could afford with SAXON written at the top. Once or twice at Rios, Wacken last year and Holmfirth last weekend. Biff mentioned the forum on stage and I thought "Its about time I get signed up", if only to ask any of the younger fans if they feel as daft as me when screaming "Where were you in 79 when the damn began to burst". The answer for a lot of us babbies is "I was merrily swimming around inside a testicle somewhere", lol

I'm constantly hearing new music and whilst my focus shifts from time to time I think it would be fair to say that Saxon have been the top of my list since the first time I heard them. So much so that a bunch of my friends rag me to pieces whenever I say I dislike something. The jibe goes "as soon as its not wheels of steel - you're not interested". Depending on my mood at the time, I suppose it could be half true, haha.

I've rambled on long enough and my dinner break is neally finished. I don't know if any of the band read the forums, but if so - You lads played a blinder at the picturedrome, can't wait for the next gig.

Hi Fellow Saxon fans.

We were at Holmfirth on Saturday 1st - what a gig. It was after that gig that I decided to sign up on here, so a big hello to ya all

I have been watching Saxon since the Denim and Leather tour, way back in the depths of history, but I can honestly say there arent many (if any) better than Biff and Co on the live stage, and I have seen just about all the metal bands going from the 80's etc.

I have seen Saxon in venues from Holmfirth, student union venues to Donnington Monsters of Rock and they have never dissappointed, and its great they are still going from strength to strength or so it seems.....good on em....

Roll on Saturday 8th Nov in Sheffield with Motorhead.......
