Heaven & Hell
Anyone going to any of the the dates? I'll be at the Manchester show (now that I'm not going to Butlin's
 ) Looking forward to seeing Iced Earth more than anything.

Hi Midnightrider - wow it was absolutely awesome. I didn't take my camera cos I never thought we would get near the front as we weren't going into the hall to see Iced Earth or Lamb of God. We stayed in the bar upstairs at the SECC until they announced that H & H were coming on in 5 minutes. It was reasonably busy but not packed or anything and stood about 6 rows from the front and I don't know quite how it happened but before I knew it I was standing right at the front of the barrier. SUPERB.
The setlist was amazing, the sound was fantastic, the light show absolutely dazzling and the stage set-up was brilliant. The song Heaven & Hell will blow you into the middle of next year it was that monumentally AWESOME. We had some great pyros going off halfway through that song. Die Young and Neon Nights were magnificent. They played one new song which sounded great but can't remember what it was called. All in all a totally brilliant night - the only drawback was that it seemed to be over really quick. I think they played for about an hour and a half but it seemed to me like they were only on for about 45 minutes it went by that quick.

And I forgot to mention the drum solo - I'm not a great lover of drum solos at the best of times - but this drum solo was FANTASTIC. GO VINNY!!!!!

Cheers for the review Princess.I'm gonna give lamb of God and Iced Earth a miss.Not that i don't like them,i quite like LOG's latest album and i have all of Iced Earth's albums but thier latest album is rather poor i thought, and i've seen them before.So the thought of standing in that big shed called wembley arena paying nearly £5.00 for a bottle of warm piss is'nt very appealing.So i think we will be getting tanked up in the pub.I'll let you know how H&H were anyway(if i remember that is)

Just back from the MEN Arena. Cracking show, but a disappointing turn-out. Only the lower tier open and only 4 of the 13 available lower tier blocks had anyone in them. Plenty of room standing too, only tight right down the front.
