Saxon to release 2 "flash songs" per year for the next 5 years. This is in addition to the 5 new studio albums Saxon already plan to release in the next 5 years. A "flash song" is a song the band will write in one day and record the next day. These songs will be released FREE on all streaming outlets. The writing and recording sessions will be video recorded for release. Saxon fans and furture Saxon fans will see behind the curtain at the writing and recording prosses. They will see the greatness of Saxon up close and personal. After the 5th year a hard copy will be released. (These songs might be about current events.) Call it a marketing strategy. That's what it is. Saxon plans to stay in the metal community's mind and ear. Saxon will become the heavy metal music "Battering Ram". Saxon will not let the metal community forget about them. It's a new day with many things to say, play and prove. It's not business as usual. Saxon will set itself apart from all other bands in all genres. Keep the faith. Saxon introduses "TIPS" to their live shows. "TIPS" stand for "TO (I) ENSURE PLAYED at SHOW". ok I'm a little off on the initials... please help me out. This is how it will work. Each tour or each leg of a tour will have a menu of 10 songs that will be available to be played. These songs will be deep cuts or rarely played songs. A monetary donation will entitle you to a vote with no limits on the amount of votes each fan can make. The 10 songs will be posted with the precentage of votes each song is getting on line for EACH show. Fans can vote online and\or at the SAXON merch table at each show. The Meet and Greet option is still availble. If you can't M+G or feel M+G is an invasion of the band's privacy this is an alternative. Saxon is still breaking gound in the music and touring business. Included in SAXON's Texas Shootout Tour 2025 package is... Bus travel to each venue with ticket and lodging. Parking lot catering (Texas BBQ etc.) 10 "TIPS" votes for each concert. One of a kind SAXON Texas Shoot Out Tour 2025 tee shirt. Tour badge. Meet and greet with pictures. Sound check access. Two complementary drinks at each venue. Individuals traveling to multiple shows (without tour package) are welcomed to join the Saxon tour bus and fan bus caravan. Some legs of the tour will be lead by Saxon on motorcycles ( Wheels Of Steel style ). Local motorcycle groups will also be riding behind Saxon. Show and non-show dates will include tours of local intrest. Every aspect of SAXON's 2025 Texas Shoot Out will be recorded for a future video release. Tour package fans are encouraged to submit their "behind the scenes footage" to be included in SAXON's Texas Shoot Out 2025 LIVE video with full credit given in the video. Only 8 songs will be repeated at each show. No other song will be played twice on SAXON's Texas Shoot Out 2025 tour. "If you can't beat them join them...make a little money and the fans happy at the same time" We're inviting all our fans that love to shoot video with their cell phone to be part of our "Sound Check Covers" series. On our 2020 to 2024 five new studio albums in 5 years marathon we will be recording "Sound Check Covers". One album for each year, 2020 - 2024. Fans and photo hounds can purchase tickets to this one of a kind event seeing, hearing, video taping and filming Saxon playing cover songs during their sound checks. All types of cameras are allowed... Cell phone cams, point and shoot, 35mm cams, old ass VHS video cameras, 8mm film and 8mm video. What ever kind of camera you have is OK. Even Polaroid cameras and professional cameras are welcome. Live audio will be recorded from a combination of sound board and audiance located microphones. All the fan videos will be edited into a video for each song. Tickets in most venues will be sold on a three tier system. Floor, balcony/mezzanine and stage level. Check each local event for pricing. Purchasers must be "on call" for entrance to the cover song porsion of the sound check. **No exact time will be given. Participants will have their picture taken holding the camera they used to be included in the end credits of the "Sound Check" series. Participants are also encouraged to record events before during and after the Saxon shows. ***All video shot will be the property of Saxon and must be given to Saxon the day of the show before leaving the venue. No video will be allowed to be shared personally or commercially. Our goal is to have as few cameras in action as possible during the public concert. No Pre-release tracks

SAXON will not be releasing any tracks before the release of their new albums. We're in a five year, five new studio albums in five years cycle. There will be no early track releases at all. When the album drops is when the public will hear the whole album. We're going old school. This is fake news...…. PS. I'd love to hear your crazy Saxon fake news before the forum closes.
