Ok guys, It is in the stereo and it is the best sounding album for a long time. AndySneap has worked masterfully on the mix. Some astounding guitar work from Paul & Doug, Nigel's drumming sounds huge (plenty of double bass but a good variety of rhythm) and along with the bass sound the rhythm section is spot on. Biff is getting better with age, not a doubt about that. As for the songs, they have managed to make a modern sounding Saxon album with plenty of references to the past, without copying anything. It's a cracker, heavier than Call To Arms and you are not going to be disappointed at all. Saxon have done it again everyone.

I'm listening to the audio samples on Amazon, and I'm really liking what I hear. Like Rick said, it's definitely heavier sounding than Call to Arms (I think it's the heaviest album since Lionheart, based on 30 second sound bites at least). I really, really can't wait to get my hands on this album!

Sounds like a MONSTER of an album.

I'm diggin' all the new songs.

Crusader (Orchestrated Version) now that's how the drums should have sounded on the original version.

Is it February 22 yet?
