Default What about SLADE

I understand that SLADE is not a metal group but.
I found Slade many times ago. I don't remember exactly when but it doesn't matter.
It about then i was 10. Since that time I like them.
It was cool then i was young

Slade have some great stuff to find and enjoy. I have seen them 4 or 5 times, very good.

"Slade on Stage" is one hell of a good album by any standards, highly recommended.

One of the best around back in the day. Shame there was never a proper concert DVD/video released.

Sadly most people's knowledge of Slade only extends to the Christmas song - not that Noddy and Jim can complain as it's kept their bank accounts healthy.

They were a great band - Slayed, Inflame, Whatever Happened To Slade etc. They were a huge influence on Kiss

Never forget the time Noddy Holder did all the band intro's when Saxon headlined an indoor festival at Leeds Queens Hall.
Remember Twisted Sister being on the line up and giving Biff a lift to look at a new motorbike he had his eye on!

I think many of us listen to other genres as well as metal, especially me

Oddly enough, I was thinking about Slade after seeing Cum On Feel The Noize on that Vintage music channel a few days back, they were something, how the hell can Noddy Holder hold that voice without his throat being sore

there was an punk/oi band (name escapes me just now) and the singers voice is a dead ringer with noddys.
