Dio gave us so much great music with Rainbow, Black Sabbath, his solo albums and Heaven and Hell

I saw Heaven and Hell in London and they were awesone.

Ronnie you were one of the greats and you have left us a terrific musical legacy.

My sympathy to your family and friends.

Thank you Ronnie - REST IN PEACE

I was utterly shattered when I read the news on Monday. My sincere condolences to Ronnie's family and friends!

Ronnie's lyrics are among the very best in the rock and metal world and all of music, actually. His voice was unique, great and unforgettable.

I will always be thankful to the man simply because the Holy Diver album means so much to me personally.

I'm not sure how to post a link, but if somebody can they should post a link to Dio's new song "Metal Will Never Die" the last song he recorded earlier this year.

Not sure if this is "Dio"(the band) or Heaven & Hell but this song kicks ass and is a haunting last track that pounds doom heavy metal into each and everyone of us forever! Go to youtube.com and have a listen...hails to Ronnie James Dio for giving us this track wile undergoing chemo treatments, what a warrior he was.R.I.P.

Here's a link to a story about the song: http://www.roadrunnerrecords.com/bla...sitemID=140312

There used to be a youtube link in this story, but it says Dio's management asked them to remove the link. I'm assuing you can still find it out on the net somewhere.

One of the last known studio recordings by late vocalist Ronnie James Dio has been unearthed.

Elektra was slated to appear on a follow-up to Dio’s Magica album, released in 2000. The track was reportedly recorded before Dio’s stomach cancer had been diagnosed.

Magica was originally intended to be the first part of a trilogy of concept albums. Shortly before starting his (final) run of dates with Heaven And Hell, Dio announced that he planned to start working on new Magica material after the tour’s end.
