great day i had on saturday at steelhouse festival and an absolute stunning show saxon gave us, love to see it on dvd in near future and hope camera guys did a great job too. like Biff said he hopes it grows in next few years , its not a bad place for a festival but i reckon that road needs tarmac on it as my car took a bollocking, or i'll have to take my horse next time

I can assure you we did a sterling job of it, I got some beautiful shots from sidestage next to Nibbs. The shot of you all at the end with Saxon taking a bow is going to be spectacular.

In all my years of seeing Saxon live, Steelhouse was breathtaking. A truly memorable gig for the atmosphere, the rain, Saxon and Biff having a right laugh on stage and a magic sound, crystal clear and earth shaking.

The set list was perfect too and it was great to catch up with a few of the forum lads during the day. Thank fook I took today off work

Can't wait to see the DVD footage and re live the night..well apart from the part where my Mrs decided to throw up halfway through the set lol!!

Ok i take your word on that Wheelsofsteelhouse, so this show will be released on dvd or is it just bits an pieces for a tv doc ?, and how many cameras were used ? in my view it would be bloody amazing to have the whole show on dvd.

We used 5 cameras, 3 at the front and 1 on each side of the stage. To be perfectly honest I'm not sure if it's going to be worked into the documentary and/or appear as an extra on the DVD. All I know is that it'll be released in some form on DVD in the near future.
I'm glad this was the filmed gig, the atmosphere was sensational and it was great to be able to document the eagle making a long awaited return to the UK.
