Hard to put a number on each. I'll go like this (in no particular order in each category):

The Great:
Unleash the Beast
Lionheart
Metalhead

The Excellent:
The Inner Sanctum
Power & The Glory
Strong Arm of The Law
Denim and Leather
Call To Arms
Wheels of Steel
Killing Ground

The Very Good:
Into The Labyrinth
Dogs of War

The Good: (more good than weaker songs)
Forever Free
Solid Ball of Rock

The So-So: (some very good tracks and some weaker ones)
Destiny
Rock The Nations
Innocence Is No Excuse
Crusader

The Weak:
Saxon

I'm gutted that you all agree that "Saxon" is "weak" - that kinda hurts, it was the album that got me into Saxon & NWOBHM, it means a lot to me. I actually had it on order "at my local record store" before the release date. Causing lots of interest with the staff of the record store who had not heard of them before.

Happy days.

I am in agreement XRWoody as much as we all have our likes and notso likes SAXON SAXON is still my favourite album. Yes they have released great albums but purely on the basis that this was the album that got me into this GREAT BAND i always go back to this one.

Saxon is actually a superb album. Rock The Nations suffers from the same production problems. I still think that the majority of songs on Rock The Nations is really good. Forever Free is pretty much the same. Give several of the songs from these albums a re-recording Heavy Metal Thunder style and they will rock your socks off
