Ok guys than I will try to write a small review^^

High 'n' Dry

Well, it was ok they did their best to motivate the audience...but they failed xD In the end they had to go off the stage because no time was left for them. They said something about a special guest, I wonder who this guest was.... I missed the song Love Reaction :-(

Setlist:

1. Welcome To The Show
2. ?
3. ?
4. Rainbow Children
5. Too Much To Loose
6. I Want Your Love

Iron Fire

I didn't know the band before but after the show I surprised in a positive way. Ok the songs are full of clichés but i liked them. Not enough to buy one of their CDs but who knows, maybe next time *g* I think Thunderstorm was the best song in the set

Setlist:

1. Blade Of Triumph
2. Bridges Will Burn
3. Prince Of Agony
4. Steel Invaders
5. Thunderstorm

Primal Fear

I'm not a big fan of Primal Fear and I don't know much songs of them but theit show was good and I actually liked them. Their most interesting song was Fight the Darkness becuase it was a kind of slow song with an instrumental part in the middle. They had nerve to play a song like this on a "Festival" where everbody wants to hear the classics

Setlist:

1. Sign Of Fear
2. Nuclear Fire
3. Running In The Dust
4. Demons & Angels
5. Fight The Darkness
6. Final Embrace ?
7. Metal Is Forever

U.D.O.

Yesss now it is time for Udo and it's time to begin with the real Christmas Meeting^^ They startet with the funny intro of the new cd and he title track Mastercutor. After the good song 24/7 they came with a surprise and I think a was not the only Accept fan in the hall who started to go crazy:-) Midnight Mover I Love that song
After that they came with the song Vendetta which is a song of the new album - imo one of the weaker tracks
But to make this thing short, it was a great performance with a good mixture of classic Accept songs and classic udo songs. Oh and I would have no problems with more new songs because the new album is really good.

here is the Setlist

1. Mastercutor
2. 24/7
3. Midnight Mover
4. Vendetta
5. Princess Of The Dawn
6. Man And Machine
7. Animal House
8. Metal Heart
9. Holy
10. I'm A Rebel (with is Son on the drums)
11. Balls To The Wall

W.A.S.P.

We Want Wasp that's what I heard all over again and well I wanted them, too but only to that point when they startet with the On Your Knees/Inside The Electric Circus Intro. I had expected the Crimson Idol show but I only got the shitty Setlist they played month ago on the Bang Your Head - minus one song. Sure it was good for those who want to hear the classics over and over again but I'm not one of those and - I hope you are not one of them - I don't like the "fans" screaming for the classics all the time.

Setlist:

1. On Your Knees / Inside The Electric Circus
2. Hate To Love Me
3. Love Machine
4. Wild Child
5. Take Me Up
6. Chainsaw Charlie
7. The Idol
8. I Wanna Be Somebody
9. Blind In Texas

Saxon

Now it's Saxon time and I expected that they would start with State of Grace but they started with Atilla The Hun (I love that song) Not everybody was happy with that decision, mostly the "screaming for classics" - guys. From time to time people threw those christmas hats (sry don't know the right word) on the stage and it was funny because Biff said "they should be black" and "Do you really want me to wear this?" Their Setlist was short but good. Well imo it was a good setlist but I heard many people complaining about the new songs and why they did not play Crusader. Come on they should have enjoyed the new songs because they are all great.

Setlist:

1. Empire Rising / Atilla The Hun
2. Motorcycle Man
3. Let Me Feel Your Power
4. 747 Strangers In The Night
5. To Hell And Back Again
6. Red Star Falling
7. Witchfinder General
8. Strong Arm Of The Law
9. Wheels Of Steel
10. Princess Of The Night

Doro

After Saxon I needed a drink because without I would have passed out. I had enough time to have a few drinks and to buy a tourshirt. Many people left the hall after Saxon because the didn't want to hear Doro. Ok I am a big Warlock Fan but I don't know her solo songs. But I had great hopes to her at least some warlock classics. And yeah now I am the one who is screaming for classics because a never had a chance to see warlock live. (hey I was born in 1988 I never had a chance)
After the first song they played I Ruled the ruins and i was going fucking crazy but it wasn't their only Warlock song in the set.
I Rule The Ruins / Earthshaker Rock / True As Steel / Für Immer / Burning The Witches / Hellbound / East Meets west / All We Are

You can't imagine how happy I was. And I have to admit that her solo songs are very good, too. I have to buy some of her cds, man I was an idiot to think that everything after Triumph & Agony is shit xD

They also played Breaking The Law with Udo as a guest singer. I don't like cover songs but to see Doro & Udo on stage was great^^ Tobias Exxel und Tobias Sammet, Mille, Schmier, Mat Sinner, Ralf Scheepers, Tom Angelripper joined the band when they played All We Are

Setlist:

1. Always Live To Win
2. I Rule The Ruins
3. My Familie
4. Burn It Up
5. Earthshaker Rock
6. True As Steel
7. Above The Ashes
8. Für Immer
9. Breaking The Law (w / Udo)
10. Ich Will Alles (+ Drum Solo)
11. Burning The Witches
12. Hellbound
13. East Meets West
14. Fight
15. All We Are
______________________________
16. Hellraiser
17. Love Me In Black
18. The Queen

It was a perfect evening for me ..or lets it would have been perfect with the Crimson Idol show^^

If this isn't a long first post from me. hope you like it and you share your Düsseldorf memories with me :-)

Oh it's late now how long did I wrote on that thing xD

Stand corrected.

"special guest" is in most cases an extra support band... not sure why it's such a honourable name, especially because most times those bands got to pay to get that slot.
