I strongly suggest watching that Alice Cooper show if you're awake for it. Fantastic performance from Alice and the band, great setlist of newer, older and almost forgotten songs (Such as 'Clones (We're All)') and a special guest appearance to close it. Well worth the watch.

It is good isn't it. To be fair Sky Arts has done a grand job of broadcasting some great stuff recently, I just hope they keep unearthing other stuff as well. Unlike MTV Live, which since it rebranded a few weeks back, has gone completely down the drain!!

thanks for the updates, Rick.
I never have been a big fan of Rush, but the programme was great.
It just goes to show that keeping an open mind is never a bad thing!

Slash at Stoke was brilliant too

A pleasure my friend. Rush have always been one of my fave bands, although I always considered their 80's period onwards to be the strongest as opposed to most people who prefer the earlier albums and they are fantastic live. Hope to go and see them again next year now that dates have been announced

Please excuse my indulgance for including stuff like Dylan and Newport. While I know it's not to everyone's cup of tea I find some of these rock, folk & blues documentaries using archive footage from the 1960's and 70's fascinating historically and usually quite a good pointer as to where some types of rock music were heading at a later date
