Default Mr Glockler

Nige
I was at Sheffield last night and I have to say that was THE best drum solo I have ever witnessed
And at the end of a long tour also
Good on ya
Have a well deserved rest

+1. Absolutely brilliant. Two guys behind me in the audience said, when the covers came off the kit, "Who needs a drum kit that big". I just quietly said under my breath "Wait until you see Nige playing it, then you'll understand". You didn't let me down .

As a drummer myself I know that solos can sometimes be a little 'misunderstood' by some in a crowd, but;

1. Your kit is a thing of beauty and wow to sit behind that would just be incredible.

2. More importantly, you know how to use it.

I'm off to practice

Totally agree with this spot on solo, I usually get quite bored with drum solos at gigs but I wasn't at this .

Dont mind drum solos but seldom impressed. But was pretty flabergasted after that one N.

You showed a lot of young pups how its done - playing better than ever.

Ditto all of the above (apart maybe from 747 getting a waxing )

Top solo's on both dates I saw of this tour.

Have a great Christmas, New Year and WELL DESERVED break

Nigel is a plane somewhere over the Atlantic right now, but when he lands I'll be sure to make sure he reads this, he'll be pleased & honored by all your comments . And to the guys who said who needs a kit that big, well, it was bigger, he actually downsized a few years ago!

Happy Christmas to you all!!
