I have the bitter and twisted album by GMT and it totally rocks and its only a 3 piece band. i consider them to be A bit like motorhead only a little bit more melodic. torme's guitar is awesome on down to here and CANT BEAT ROCK N ROLL is my favorite track.

GMT guitarist Bernie Torme has just issued the following plea to Classic Rock:

I don't know whether you could help us with this, but it would be fantastic if Classic rock could mention the fact that GMT are playing the Standard Music Venue in Walthamstow London on Fri 14th December. It's our only London show this year.

I realise it may well be too late and that it's not exactly Led Zep at O2, but it would be a great help for us if you could do anything to let people know.

GMT are also now being represented worldwide by Danny Stanton at Coallier Entertainment in New York, which is really great for us

Hope you are well,

Bernie

Black Majesty have already had an enormous 2007 and things are not slowing up. Busy promoting their new album Tomorrowland Black Majesty have recently returned to Australia following a European Tour where they played major Heavy Metal Festivals including Wacken Open Air in Germany, Masters of Rock Festival and Metal Universe Festivals. Black Majesty shared the stage with international Metal Giants like Blind Guardian, Motorhead, Iced Earth, Hammerfal, Edguy, Masterplan, Children of Bodom and Stratovarius to name a few. Black Majesty launch their new album Tomorrowland at the Central Club in Richmond on Saturday October 13th. Support on the night will come from up and coming Melbourne Metallers Envenomed and Vampora. Black Majesty merchandise will be available on the night. Doors open at 8pm.
Black Majesty have also just been announced as one of the opening acts to the upcoming SAXON (U.K) Australian Tour where they will support the band on Wednesday 24th of October at the Forum in Sydney and Thursday 25th of October at the HiFi Bar in Melbourne.

Note: The above mentioned dates for the Saxon Australian Tour have been pushed back to April 2008. Exact dates will be announced shortly.

I like both of them - how about Darksun? I think they mostly sing in Spanish, but their latest album "The Dark Side" is in English and is fantabulous, in my opinion!
