Well my original copy of Powerage is a Cassette (pre-ordered before originally released back in 1978) and it does have "Cold Hearted Man" which I like, there is no "Rock'n'roll Damnation" which I felt was the weak link on the later version of this album.
I thought my Cassette version of Powerage started with Riff Raff to be honest, I'll have to check now that you have whetted my appetite.

I know that the original recordings were "harder" and a slightly different version of several of the tracks. It's just excellent. Pity the cassette is passed its best now. Its a treasured article which rarely gets played due to its well worn condition.

For interest I also have the original (Cassette) version of "Let There Be Rock" which includes "Crabsody In Blue" which I like, but does not have "Problem Child" which was already available on the Dirty Deeds album.
I never did work out why it was added to the LTBR, at the expense of Crabsody In Blue, on later versions.

You are right mate;

Side 1: Gimme A Bullet, Down Payment Blues, Gone Shooting, Riff Raff
Side 2: Sin City, Up To My Neck In You, Whats Next To The Moon, Cold Hearted Man, Kicked In The Teeth.

My favourite is Down Payment Blues.

yeah thats the same as my vinyl version. Theres is also another two others out there that has the same track order,but starts with 'rock and roll damnation' , and one that is the same as the cd version.

As for 'crabsody in blue' , i think i was originaly realeased world wide with Crabsody, but then Atlantic cut it out from the europian versions for being too 'racey'. i was then replaced with a shortened version of problem child.

Phew!

Excellent classy album, if you like Whitesnake, Def Leppard and Krokus you should like this album. There are some hard rockin tracks on here
