I finally arrived............

since the guestbook is gone a while i decided to join this forum today, ive been a saxon fan since 1981, i have seen almost every saxon gig in the new york area since 1982 and saxon are my favorite HM band of all time, the battering ram album and the call to arms albums are the best two albums saxon have done this decade so far but i love sacrifice to, i last saw saxon in may 2015 in nyc, sadly we are not getting a battering ram us tour it looks unless there are more dates for 2017, anyway i have collected so many things saxon over 35 years now, im this bad to give you an example the recent eagles and dragons box set i ordered from demon records is great, then a month later demon re issue all those lps on COLOR vinyl and i had to have them so i have the box AND the color vinyl editions, yeah i am big time!!!! lets face it i am old and when it comes to metal i love all the stuff out of the 70s and 80s but by the mid 80s things where changing but i did always stick by saxons side EVEN WHEN THEY DID DESTINY IN 1988, i still love there version of ride like the wind, anyway i felt it time i HAD to join, glad i am here now maybe i will finally find others that love saxon as much as i do......................cheerio saxonman ps i just ordered that 2 cd compilation best of 1991 through 2009 demon put out as a 2 cd set, yup if it says saxon I GOTTA HAVE IT!!

thank you, for the past 25 years now germany seems to be saxons biggest market, i know you get a lot of live saxon gigs in germany, i wish i could say the same for the us, i will work on that collection but please remember it has been 35 years so it can take a little while............................

Welcome Saxonman There is talk that Saxon may hit the US for some Battering Ram dates in the Spring of 2017 so hopefully you will get the chance to see them again then
