For me when the gig ends its a mad rush to get back to the nearest tube station to get the tube back to liverpool st to get one of the last trains home!
never anytime to go hanging about back doors !!

I've noticed that, whenever I go to Londontown the tubes always finish early. Then again the trains round Liverpool/Manchester etc. area finish pretty early as well so it's not just London. It's a pain and it makes me wish I could have a bike to zip from place to place and stuff.

......make friends with the support bands too is a top tip, u ever know how they are going to turn out in a few years time

The support bands are usually around their own merch stand after they have played.

unfortunately i never had the luck to meet one of the bandmembers

maybe more luck next time on a rumble market around the venue, on the tourbus after a winters night gig, somewhere backstage, on the soundcheck, on the toilet, at a shoe-store before the show - i dont know...

this reminds me of SOMETHING SPECIAL
