Default the forum-st.George's day

Well it is now 3 days since I saw the mighty Saxon and I'm still buzzing!!! I 've been lucky to see Saxon a few times and this was the best ever, great show, excellent track-list with a great blend of old and new and a couple of surprises,namely ride like the wind {few jaws dropped to the floor, well we all seemed to enjoy it!} and Crusader, thank-you thank-you! also what a great crowd well-up for it as were the band. Must also mention Doro + band great support she has aged a lot better than me over the last 20 years!
Spoke to someone at the bar who was concerned at who might have turned up due to the St. Georges day link and mentioned he had noticed a few skin heads, no such worries crowd was 1st class, lets face it most of us Saxon fans must age between 40-50 and mother nature hasn't always been kind! Still the hair may not be there but the spirit certainly is, suddenly after a couple of numbers and a little help from the Tuborg larger I was no longer 41 father of 3 with mortgage but 19 again complete with silly grin and my trusty air-guitar at hand{just like a bike you never forget how to play}
Great moment when I went to the bar and found myself next to a crusader in full chain-mail, and I thought I was feeling hot. Noticed Quinney waving the blokes sword around on stage at the end.
Anyone out there who has a chance of seeing them for gods sake go it really is worth it I promise you will not be disappointed. If anyone knows the play-list I would love to know it. Cheers to the band, I promise I will buy the new album on vinyl, and best wishes to everyone at the forum who made it a great night. Keep on ROCKING.

Thanks for the set-list. I am well impressed you boys were certainly paying attention in the back/front row. Over 20 songs Saxon certainly give value for money, great pictures as well they capture the atmosphere of the evening. Hope the crusader got his sword back! Does anyone know if any of the venues have sold out? Enjoy the rest of the shows if your going, cheers.
