Really disappointed to read this news this morning. Lost out on my flights from Cork - Manchester, train from Manchester Airport to Preston and my hotel. It was hard enough trying to put cash away for the trip, I chose Saxon over another gig, Rotting Christ in Dublin on November 3rd, but that's the way it goes. I got burnt last year too with the Hatfield gig, lost out on all the same things.

Probably some contractual thing with the Motorhead tour, couldn't see why else they'd pull the plug on their own show for their own fans and instead play a support slot elsewhere. Bands know nowadays with more access to travel, internet, meet ups etc that it's no longer a case where all punters are from the town the gig is on and a lot of people travel for shows. Will wait and see what the official announcement is. I won't head over now even though everything is paid for, bit of an anti climax and the trip would not be the same. Perhaps if Xentrix played a hometown gig on the night instead, I'd head over.

Gutted. I was flying over from Belfast mainly for the support, Stormzone. Has to be something to do with the Motorhead tour. Flights, trains and hotel all paid for so might as well go for a piss-up in Preston anyway

Seeing as the whole tour is postponed including the club dates I'm going to say no, they won't be.
