Never Surrender is probably my favorite song by the band. Aside from a scorching riff, it's been quite inspirational to me and I can identify with the theme of the lyrics.

I like most of the Saxon back catalog (with some notable exceptions), but one of the reasons I like Saxon is because of their “themes” or “stories” within the song writing, so, probably, my favourite track is Dallas 1pm, is just such a good song.
I also really love Broken Heroes, The Preacher and Circle of light. Good stories, good songs.
Other notables for me include Power and the Glory, Warrior, State of Grace, Battalions of Steel, Suzie Hold On, Strong Arm, Crusader (this has grown on me a lot over the years), plus loads of others, you all know them well.

Perhaps rather controversially; I am not so keen on 747 (heard it too many times and it’s a bit repetitive), “Wheels of Steel” is a great song but again, heard it too many times I can’t deny its good live though. And The Bands Played On, doesn't excite me overly.
There are one or two I really don’t like but I prefer to mention no names (Party ‘Till You Puke for one !)

Among the hundreds of great songs by the mighty SAXON I think my Top 3 are:
747 (Strangers in the Night)
Princess of the Night
I've got to Rock (to stay alive)

Default Lights in the Sky & Hole in the Sky

Lights in the Sky because hearing this song for the first time in early 1991, from the comeback Solid Ball of Rock album, I just new Saxon were back playing the music they should be big time!

Hole in the Sky because its a brilliant track, and I met Paul Quinn after Saxon's NABD benefit gig in Stockport in 92, and he said it was his favourite from the Forever Free album.
