haha yeah cant be bad!! personally, i think Saxon and Goldsmith both came out of it looking good, and im ok with that. Had a few moments lecturing my wife about a few points lol, but i think i will have to watch it again before i fully form an opinion, my first impressions were fairly positive ones though.

Shame the other guys in the band were not featured as much as they could of been though.

Well what can I say that hasnt already been said???

Overall I thought the band came across very well (I was worried after reading a few posts after some of you attended the filming for the discussion programe)

I think the one thing that embarrased us all was the air guitar record attempt (cringeworthy is probably the understatement of the year) but even that generated publicity because we are all talking about it on here so that must mean that others are too.

Would Saxon -

Had an album launch at a venue in london with rock press invited?(not shown on the program)

attended the Classic Rock awards & got their photos in Classic rock magazine?

done countless UK radio interviews (total rock, kerrang etc)?

released a single ( albeit a remix)?

Played Sheffield City Hall?

Had a 3 (YES THREE) page interview in classic rock - and a mention on the cover?

Without agreeing to take part in the program?..........

....I'll leave that for you to decide..........

I am not taking sides ( I am a massive Saxon fan) but I am trying to see the overall picture.

Excuse me mate!! I started this thread, Who am I attacking? The thread title has been left open for people to air their views in which ever way they want.

Hehehehehehe

Oh yeah that was HILARIOUS seeing those photos of Harvey at the Great Wall of China and that guy said it looked like he was looking for Bin Laden the way he was dressed. And what about the photos with the other gay outfits - I dont think Harvey was too pleased when everyone burst out laughing at him
