Talking Saxon Japan - a short review...

Hey mates, as i promised - a short review for the japan gigs.

We started on friday in Hamburg (1:50 pm) flying to London Heathrow where we picked up the band (all of them except Biff & Thomas, they were already in Japan doing some promo things). Then we went on our flight to Tokyo airport. Damn long flight, about 12 hours to go and we arrived saturday 2pm local time. Now i know what jetlag means .
Then we had to go to the venue for a production meeting where we met Thomas and Biff. That was about an hour travel by a big taxi. I wanted to see Heaven & Hell that evening but we were deadly tired so we went back to the hotel...
Next day started at about 11 am. Travel to the venue - its a real huge arena with about 30000 seats. wow. The japanese people are very friendly & professional so it was easy for us to work.
The gig was great as ever and the audience was great too - very loud these small people :-)

Next day we travelled to Osaka by bullet train. About 500km in 2 hours - fast thing. The gig was in a club (about 1500 people). We supported Arch Enemy - they are way big in Japan, but in my opinion it was Saxon who rocked the house

Next morning we went to Osaka airport and on our way home...
Osaka -> Tokyo -> London -> Hamburg
In London British Airways lost all our luggage.... My home and car keys were in that luggage

I posted a few pics on my myspace account, hope you enjoy...

Im no pro photographer and my camera is crap, too - sorry for that...

Torben, who hopes to see you all soon, mates!
