Default R.I.P. Clive Burr

From Iron Maiden's official site

Really sad to hear, and on Steve Harris's Birthday too...

He really was an essential for the first three Maiden albums (where Number Of The Beast is still one of my favorite Heavy Metal albums of all time) and helped made Iron Maiden a NWOBHM success story.

I really hope that Clive Aid will continue to run to help those suffering with MS, and God willing, will help finding a cure and prevention of MS, one of many evils in the world.

A very sad day

Clive & Nigel were the two drummers who influenced me to pick up the sticks and play

I went to a a couple of the Clive Burr benefits concerts.

Clive was a great drummer.

My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends

RIP Clive.
