Well Andy you got your wish AND Greg Rutherford in the long jump as well PLUS the GB Ladies pursuit team in the cycling brought the GB total today to SIX Golds and a Silver. An absolutely fantastic day for British Sport. This is what it's all about.

Unfortunately we had to go out on penalties (AGAIN) in the footy but you cannot get everything I suppose.

Thumbs up

Another day, and another gold for GB. Well done Ben Ainslie. A truly brilliant performance in the sailing, especially after a 'dodgy' week leading up to the medal race.

Well done to our other sailors today who came away with a silver. It was such a shame they just missed out on the gold but you can never predict what the wind is going to do!!

Must also mention Natasha Jonas in the women's boxing. She has come through her first bout and was mightily impressive.

Editing this,

Another Gold for GB. Tennis argument aside. Andy Murray has just demolished Roger Federer in straight sets to become Olympic Champ. I've never seen him play better.

Another Edit!!
A fantastic Silver and Bronze for our Gymansts in the Pommel Horse another Silver for Andy Murray and Laura Robson in the Mixed Doubles Tennis Final and a Silver for Christine Ohuruogu in the 400m.

I spoke too soon, I admit it. We are doing damn well

Ok, trying to update correctly.

Two more Golds for GB in Cycling and Team Show Jumping. Fantastic

and a Bronze for Beth Tweddle in the Gymnastic Uneven Bars. She has been fantastic for British Gymanstics for years and she deserves a medal before 'retiring'.

Well, I'm actually amazed at how well we are doing. Should I have doubted?

FOUR more Gold Medals in Triathlon, Dressage and Cycling.

Well done Sir Chris Hoy. The Man is a Machine!!

Two more Silvers in Cycling and Sailing

And also the Bronze in the Triathlon as well

Ok, we can add another Bronze in the Mens High Jump

And what a difference between the Olyimpians and the vile, zero IQ, swearing, diving, overpaid, egostical, spoilt, whining footballers.
