Question Heavy Metal Thunder DVD Question

Hi there,

I want to order it. Just not sure exactly where from. Are the ones from the links below anyhow different from each other? Does the "limited edition" contains any sort of additional item, such as a photo book, for instance?

http://www.coolheadproductions.com/SAXONDVD/

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Saxon-Heavy-...2375979&sr=8-1

As the one to be sold by Amazon is way cheaper, I intend to order from there. Just want to be sure that I'm not missing anything.

Tks,

Chambau

Hi, the limited edition has some extra material. I can't be more precise, because I don't remember the difference (notwithstanding I hold a copy of the limited edition)!

The Limited edition has the St Georges day concert and some other films.

The limited edition also has the extended cut of the main film as well, the standard version is about an hour and a half or two hours and the extended cut is just under three hours.

Up to now I've had just time to watch the documentary and to have some taste of DVD 2. Fucking time...

Hi Chambau,
Sorry it's taken so long to get back to you - I forgot my password...
To answer your question, you'll be missing quite a lot that way - in fact, everything!
The cheap version of the DVD available on Amazon does not exist.
We have been in discussion with a record label about selling a shorter standard edition via retail but those talks seem to have floundered. Unfortunately, they decided to advertise it before confirming the deal, hence those ads (which also damaged other deals we had in place with other labels). I'm afraid that if you order there you won't get any DVD.
You can order via Coolhead's Amazon shop or via the link on Saxon's website. There are a few copies left. Those are the only places where this can be bought.
I hope that clears it up and I hope you order - I'm sure you won't be disappointed.
Cheers,
Coolhead

yes..... BUT coolhead productions have said that there are NO plans to release the 2 disc version other than through the saxon747 website. Don't pre-order from play.com or amazon.com, or hmv.com etc, as they just keep pushing the release date back.
