eagle
can anybody tell me where i can find pictures of the eagle?and I mean the black one the big one with the rotating head and landing lights. I once saw it on the lochem festival in 1982. but i never saw it again and i want to show it to the kids. thank you

black eagle!!
goodmorning everybody!! a while ago I asked if anybody remembered the big black eagle that saxon had on stage at the lochem festival in 1980 or something!! I just cant imagine that nobody took any pictures of it! I remember it well!! the gig before them were bow wow wow and it rained very much, but after that saxon came on stage and the sun came back too!! they stormed on stage and gave it there best!!! as ALLWAYS! my daughter asked them and they even asked the tourmanager but nobody seems to remember this big eagle!!! am i going senile!!!please sombody help me out!! thanks!!! O yeh!! this eagle was stage wide!,black and had a rotating head with lights in it! someone please remember!!

there is lots of footage of 'The eagle' on youtube, as they brought it wacken 2007. Search -'saxon at wacken 2007' especialy watch demin & leather from wacken, as at the land, the eagle lands, and sweeps down around the stage.

i never saw a black eagle along with saxon - in the early years maybe ?
and i never saw the head of the eagle moving - maybe itīs out of order for many years... watch the chronicals - there he is is well visible - "bring it down" actually the eagle is being renewed with some more functions - you will be surprised soon ! cheers !
