Saxon - Paris,France Feb.1 2009

I would love to see this band no matter what songs they were playing.
I am from the U.S.A. and have never seen this legend on stage so I
would be greatful just to see such a unique show.

I fully understand Saxon's position and am not in anyway upset at the band for thier lack of U.S. shows...."it is what it is"...and even if I never get to see them live,I always know that they are proud to have fans in every city on every continent to keep the flame of Saxon burning for times to come!!!!

He didn't promise, he said he was hoping Saxon could get a package together for a tour.

JD, I really hope you and all the guys and gals across the pond get to see Saxon live one day, hopefully their popularity will continue and they're able to put on a big tour of the states. I've seen your Saxon thread on the Judas Priest forum, so just keep it going and maybe your wish will come true.

Hey Dirkster....thank you man!!! Yeah I am one fan from the U.S. that
is not upset that Saxon has less U.S. shows....they are professionals
and they have passion for rock and heavy metal.......they can't be everywhere all the time and so what if they haven't been here as much as Europe right? lol!

Really we all want to see the guys but we from the U.S. MUST understand the ramifications of setting up tours ect...but to all U.S. fans....just because they haven't been over here that much doesn't mean they don't care about "ALL" of thier fans over here....I know that Biff and the guys would like to play not only over here more often, but other places they haven't been to much as well.....we are not the only country that craves shows from Saxon!! lol! Its true....

Hi Saxonfan. He did promise and used those same words. It's in a couple of youtube videos. If you want I'll find them. The whole purpose was is that I've only got so much time I'm told, so if they do make a Nov/Dec timeframe, that would be wonderful.

I'm not looking for an arguement. You are awesome here. I may haave missunderstood what was said. I do take some powerful meds lol. Peace out bro.

Here is one promise http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7wc7S6W540w

I'm with ya 110%, Marty, on wanting to see them play here in the Buckeye!!
I agree with you on Cleveland. I saw Michael Schenker Group at Peabody's in Cleveland in June. They were totally amazing, but I preferred the venue in Akron where I saw UFO in April of 2008. This was a place called The Tangiers. My wife and I only paid $25.00 a ticket to see the UFO here. We had a great view of the stage, parking was convenient, and there were good restaurants right down the street in a decent neighborhood. I could definitely see Saxon playing The Tangiers!!
