Default uk 2013 gigs so far

Ok, so only 1 gig so far last night in Leamington Spa. Did anyone from here attend? How was it! What was the set list? Any photos or videos anyone would like to share?

Ditto for Nottingham tonight and Newcastle tomorrow?

This will have to be validated by someone who actually attended the concert, but here's the setlist that I found on-line: http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/saxon/...-5bd8c384.html

Its pretty much there but they did not play chasing the bullet.

Was a great show new songs were welcomed enthusiastically by a decent crowd.

Going to see if i can hold off looking at setlist as i prefer to be surprised than going knowing what song comes next. I know im doing 3 gigs but the St George,s gig is meant to be different from the rest. I think

Since not everyone wants to see/know the setlist in advance, and you can't always know when you go into a thread if it's going to be there or not, maybe the best way for those who want to know would be to have someone who's been to a gig send them a PM with the info? Or do as in another post put as a link, so you have a choice to look or not.

Just a thought

I hope people read this thread and think twice now before posting setlist as good points have been posted

Thanx to those who have posted details of the set list. Very helpful for me, as it's been years since I have seen the band and there are plenty of songs that I am unfamiliar with. It looks like I will have to do some Saxon homework between now and Tuesday, although I am pleased to see enough "old favourites" are still in the set, so I can at least "sing-a-long-a-Biff" for part of the show. Bring ear plugs, I don't have a good singing voice!

Keep on rockin'

Don't think that matters much, its the volume not the quality that counts
