I'm not sure about the Blu-Ray in Japan but the Wacken 2007 is not the Saxon concert. It's a compilation dvd that Wacken organisers release every year with different performances from throughout the festival

Thanks. With a closer look I see there's no Saxon on the cover of the Wacken DVD. Looking at the HMT - The Movie DVD .... I see it's only one disc.
123 minutes long. Released 2012. It must be Eagles Over Wacken.

No its not, it is the movie but is the BLU-RAY not the DVD so will be on one disc, I'm just not sure if it's actually been released out in Japan yet

Thanks again. You are the man. I don't know the storage on a blu ray was greater than a DVD. I'm living in the dark ages...lol.

On a side note...I bought the 96k version of Lionheart. It sounds amazing. :D

Saxon the movie

Looks very, very cool & I look forward to amazon (US) putting an actual release date on the thing, instead of the pre-order we will ship when available, message currently on their site. Hopefully, we won't have to wait long for the release of the new record as well. It is truly annoying how far the US is behind the rest of the world when it comes to anything new, SAXON related.
Cheers, all.

I feel your pain. I tried three times to order the fan pack from UDR with no luck. Their order page blows. I've emailed them a couple of times too. Their help has only been somewhat helpful. I want the Wacken 3 LP fan pack too but if I order both at the same time it cost more to ship. NUTS. I tried to paypal but it says no. I try bank transfer and I see "paid with paypal" send your back transfer here. I guess UDR has my order but it's unpaid. I haven't given up yet. It's fuckin hard to be a SAXON fan in the USA. It would be cool if amazon (or anyone) sold the fan packs in the USA.

Tough to be a Saxon fan in the States these days!

I totally agree, it is tough to be a Saxon fan in the States these days. Last tour I traveled 6 hrs south to Cali. to see them, as they bypassed the Northwest all together. Metal in general, seems tougher to see live up here in Oregon & Washington lately.
Had nothing but trouble trying to order T's & and a Hoodie from the official store, so I went to Tshirt zone UK & it was a snap. Amazon UK can be good for certian things. I did buy the special WOA limited edition box set from UDR without a hitch, but paypal is a pain in the ass for the most part. I rely on amazon for most everything though and unfortunately have to wait a bit more for release dates...

This thing is GREAT!!! Perfect video for the Saxon fan!

Though not heavy metal, I found this DVD to be in league with a Tom Petty DVD titled Running Down a Dream, which is very similar to Heavy Metal Thunder in that it's also very long and also covers everything in such great detail. So much so that it may actually be too much for the casual fan - but I don't care......Because I'm not a casual fan! :D

Epic DVD, love it
