Hi does anybody no if saxon have played live sailing to America. My fav song of the crusader album

I'd like to know the answer to this question too. I couldn't find it on YouTube. I also asked someone with alot of Saxon bootleg concert recordings and he said it's not on any of his recordings.

I hope they do something special for the North American tour and play it. I noticed there were otbers requesting it on the set list thread.

The husband says they have played on the Crusader tour - he's not sure if they have done it on any others...

They played it on the Crusader tour at the playhouse in Edinburgh

I hope saxon play it again and video it, maybe put it on the new DVD they are working on. It is a cracking song, allways played on the car stereo. I've mentioned this song quite a few times in threads on this forum hopping one day they will video it. I'm not giving up on it yet. Rock on saxon. Ya the best.

sailing to america is a great song, always been a fave of mine, i know it was played at most uk shows on the crusader tour but on no tours since :(,would be great to hear it again and to have it on dvd also, really theres loads of killer songs saxon should pull out from the archives for us to hear live;) such a waste that we dont get to hear em i think.

I would like to see them play it this time around.

I saw the Crusader tour but I don't remember them playing it....not that they didn't. I just don't remember. On the other hand maybe they did and that's the reason I love the song so much. Thanks for the info that they have played it back in fucking 1984...lol. Come on guys give the people what they want. It's going to be a big fucking event when Saxon plays Sailing To America on the North American tour. It will be filmed. I'm keeping the faith.
