New tour with Priest and BSR
 

1st show of the tour yesterday and Saxon just played 7 songs according to this, same as Black Star Riders??? WTF? They were supposed to play at least 55-60 minutes....

Seeing this tour in Ottawa on March 25. And hoping for more Saxon songs!!

There were serious equipment issues for both Saxon and BSR - that is why the sets were cut short.

As it was the first show these things sometimes happen - it will be sorted by the next one.

Were both bands sets cut short, or just Saxon's?

When I first saw only 7 songs I was surprised, then I saw Biff tweeted about technical issues. I would imagine Saxon will be playing more like 11-12 songs when things get running smoothly.

I believe both sets were cut short but Saxon's was shorter than BSR's...

Looks like Saxon got 10 songs in last night, much better....wonder if that's going to be the norm for the of the tour of if there's still a chance to sneak in 11 or 12 songs.

Saxon sounded great last night in Youngstown, Ohio.

It was my first time seeing them and I was blown away.

It was my first time, too, and it was awesome. I know most of the crowd was probably there to see Judas Priest, but they showed a good bit of love to Saxon. It's too bad their set couldn't have been longer. It would've been cool to also hear them play songs like Metalhead, Hammer of the Gods, Battering Ram, Atilla the Hun, etc.

I was there, man they sure messed up the sound for BSR! :eek:

Saxon played thier whole set list April 15th in Kent,Wa...Tbey blew the roof off the place and left young kids stunned. No other band could open up for Judas Priest as well as the mighty Saxon!
