Dates with Priest Confirmed
 

Saxon will be out as the special guests of Judas Priest, along with Black Star Riders - USA and Canada dates are up now.

Any idea if that's the full and final list of dates, or if there's the possibility of more dates still to be added? Otherwise looks like I STILL won't have the chance to see Saxon in Minnesota.

Not sure - since Saxon is special guests Priest will be booking the shows and they would do any announcements. I think there may be but please don't quote me!! :)

No doubt more will be added, can't imagine Youngstown is the only stop in Ohio!

Maybe you can put in a good word for Minnesota for me :) Traveling is fun and all, but just once I'd love to see Saxon in MN.

I just saw Saxon in September in Newton nj in a very small place. The show was great!! On the way home my older son couldn't stop raving about how great Saxon was and said the only other band he would like to see live was Judas Priest. I told him that may never happen because Priest said on their website they wouldn't be doing any more world tours:eek: Biff did say they would be back around in March so we were waiting to see when the tickets would go on sale. I saw the announcement on Monday and was able to get pre-sale tickets so I am super pumped to see Saxon again in a larger venue.

After years of wanting to see Saxon we finally did in March 2017 at House of Blues Cleveland 5hr trip but worth every mile. Then to our surprise they do some Canadian dates in the fall and we see them in Toronto with UFO again. Now they will be hear with Judas Priest which have not seen since 2006 and they were great that night. So on March 27 is going to be one great night of British Heavy Metal. It would be great if Saxon do a contest to pick songs in the set list!

For this last leg of the 2017 tour Saxon had a contest on Facebook for the fans to pick a song to be added to the set list. There was a list of 14 songs to choose from. Broken Heroes was the winner. Saxon's Facebook post said they would also play the second place song which was Sailing To America. I've looked at most of the set lists and didn't see either song listed. :confused:

I keep checking the Priest site for any signs of a show in Minnesota, still nothing....sigh. Would love to see this tour but am not going to be able to make it to any of the currently scheduled shows.
