Saxon was metal at its best, head banging was almost outlawed for anyone remembering these times due to a few deaths publicised in the press. The list goes on (still counting at 115). Anyway I want to find out when the Saxon gig was & who supported and anything anyone out there remembers. A blast from the past. Andy C
WOW, what a great line-up of bands. I saw a few of them myself around the same time period here in the US, except for MSG, Tygers Of Pan Tang and Gillian. I never got into Ultravox. Deaths????

It's a question asked before and will be asked many times again...

If you all send me the tour dates, I'll knock up a database or spreadsheet with all the required information. Send scans of your ticket stubbs in, the more information the better.

Send your information in from around the world. Let's get a definative tour database. Our friends in America can send all the tour dates in from the last 7 years, or from previous dates when visa's haven't been such a problem.

Send all your tourdate information to me, and I'll sort something out.

rattz @ aol . com (take out the spaces).

RIGHT NOW WE DON'T HAVE ANYTHING LIKE THIS... but it DOES need doing at some point, and I can't see the official site doing it.

Here's Some 80's UK info.

September 6, 1985: Manchester Apollo (Can't remember support) Ticket 5.50
October 5, 1986: Manchester Apollo (Can't remember support) Ticket 6.00
May 8, 1988: Manchester Apollo (Can't remember support) Ticket 6.50

I also have a ticket stub for another Manchester gig see below:

March 22, ? early 90's I think: Manchester International 2 (Can't remember support) Ticket 5.50 - Nibbs was definitely in the band then, maybe first tour?

I was at the 1985 & 1988 gigs at the Manchester Apollo the same as Fingers, and can remember the support for the 1988 show, a Welsh rock band called Kooga who I think supported Saxon throughout the UK Destiny tour.
