Thx for the answer Torben! What is the price of a good PA system? So the fans have an idea what such things cost,.. If a band would posses such a system itself, would be great, but it will cost alot, I think..indication Torben??

I've been there several times (Sala Jam, in Bergara), and you're not kidding about the time the system was built (or at least that's how it sounds sometimes...)
Cheers, good to have you here!

difficult to say... depends on how big the venue is and what kind of system you want - its like buying a VW or a Mercedes . But an average system including the FOH and the Monitor desk and the monitorsystem (and speakers) will at least be around 200.000€. and there is no ceiling, you can spend as much money as you like. For example, the FOH desk we are now touring with is a midclass one (a Midas XL200). This desk was worth around 40.000€ when it was new. Its expensive stuff we are working with, but it`s worth every penny.
cheers

Default Foh

Sorry mates - FOH means Front Of House - the place where the mixing desk is.
