Funnily enough was in Tesco today and they announced over the tannoy that you can now get 500 minutes talk, unlimited web and text for 10 a month!!!!
Perfect!
Guys I've found out a two roomed flat in Angel for 300 pounds per month (bills included) plus a deposit. It seems too good to be true...the guy doesn't want money, but she (well, I'm not sure, I think it's a woman dealing with me) wants me to tranfer money to myself (writing London as adress) via Western Union and to scannerize the receipt of the operation in order to get it to her via email as a proof I have the money to pay. Then she would secure the flat for me (just for a month). What do you think? It seems safe because I will pay her cash...but still it seems too good to be true. Perhaps me and her could meet in order to cut a deal and she could produce some weapons in order to steal my money. Don't get me wrong, I'm no paranoid but this offer sounds really too much good and scammers does exist...

Wait, wait! I don't have to tranfer money to her account: someone close to me (for example my father) should transfer money to ME via Western Union. Then I should scannerize the receipt and send it via email to her in order to show proof I got money enough to pay her. I'm not that stupid to transfer money to other people!

Still seems a little suspicious.

Have you had any email correspondance with this person?

If so, can you run the email headers through this little tool, just so you know that its not been sent by a scammer from some other part of the world.

Where can I get that SIM? At big Tesco shops or in the small ones?

When are you moving to UK, around for the 23rd of april?
I just saw what you said earlier about 300 pounds a month for a 2 bedroom flat..
my friend and his girlfriend rent a 1 bedroom flat for 950 a month, so I think it was definetly to good to be true!
