I saw a Blind Guardian/Grave Digger show last winter, I am not too familiar with specific Grave Digger songs, but I will say they went over really well with the crowd. Quite a few people were singing along with them, it was an entertaining show.

Blind Guardian, great live band, loved that show. It was my second time seeing them, and I'll gladly see them a third time if I have the opportunity to do so.

Thumbs up

This are two great bands from Germany
I like them both, Blind Guardian even more.
The best albums of Grave Digger are to me the three ones with the topic of the Middle Ages : Tunes Of War, Nights Of The Cross, and Excalibur. A very special one is the DVD "The Clans Are Still Marching"
recorded at the Wacken Open Air 2010 where they perform the entire
Tunes Of War album.

Blind Guardian is a very great Band. My favourite album is "Nightfall In Middle Earth"

I will see them besides SAXON at the Ruhrott Metal Meeting on December 3rd.

W/my limited exposure to GD, gotta go w/"The Last Supper", "The Grave Digger" being a close second. As for BG, "A Night at the Opera", far and away their best!

Well sure, you've been in The Court of the Crimson King, but have yet to be touched by him...

Love Gravedigger here. I never get the chance to see them however. I too discovered them relatively late on. I have Tunes of War, Excalibur, Heart of Darkness and Return of the Reaper. I love them all but Excalibur and Return in particular. I have some serious buying to do regarding their back catalogue.

I admire the fact that they play straight down the line heavy metal and never deviate from the cause. Chris' vocals may put some off but I think they fit. Would jump at the chance to see them live if possible \m/
