Default Live In Haarlem CD

Just wondering if Live In Haarlem will ever be released to the general public in any format. I would love to get a CD or digital (iTunes) version but have thus far been unable to do so and can't afford the D2C boxset. Hopefully this will happen soon because I am sure that millions of fans would love to have this CD.

Except that then de-values the box set.

Right Andy, i do not like to order this box and see a few months later that
a part of it you can get on 'normal' way

This is a special one for special people

I guess that I didn't look at it that way but that does make sense. I really hate when bands have to realease five different versions of a new album such as Alice Cooper's Welcome 2 My Nightmare. Why can't they just release one version with everything included because any true fan would buy it. Or in the case of Sacrifice release the album with all 16 recorded tracks, including Luck Of The Draw and the five Re-Recorded classics, on one disc and make Live In Haarlem a bonus disc. Just an observation.

I understand your position. I hate it the same way, if a record comes out and six month later they do the same with any bonus/special on it that true fans have to buy this, too. But of course i do it

Default Live In Haarlem

I received Live In Haarlem yesterday and must say that I am not that impressed. It seems very "imperfect", as if it was just thrown together. I am glad to have it but it does not seem to hold up to the Saxon standards of live albums that we have all come to expect. Just an observation.

I love the live in Haarlem CD, especially Biff's line ''are there any disco fans in here tonight, well fuck off cos this is a metal concert''.

I really like the Haarlem CD. I think the mix is great. As it was never supposed to be an 'official live album' that could be why you feel it's 'thrown together', however I think it's a fantastic bonus to have.

I also agree with Fingers that if it was released generally then it would devalue the boxset.
