Default any fans of old Scorpions here

I just started revisiting the Uli Jon Roth years, they really had some great music in the early years.Speaking of Roth,he is coming to Chicago in October and might just see him.

I love their 'first' album, "Lonesome crow", and would like to take the opportunity of this post, if you don't mind, to ask a question:
In the back of the spanish LP "Lonesome crow" (the one with the raven and the scorpion -I think there are 3 different covers-) there's a paragraph, translated into spanish, where you can read there's one earlier Scorpions LP.
I haven't ever known of that album, does anyone have further info?

Lonesome crow is the first album, but perhaps I've an explanation. It was sold not only with a different cover, but with a different title too. For example I got it under the title Action. On the cover (a woman sitting in a jeep slipping into moving sands) along with the title and the band name there's written Rock on Brain (it's like a label sign, perhaps our German friends know something more). Made in West Germany

For the most common covers: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lonesome_Crow

Anyway Ulrich Roth period is really nice!

I've got that 'Action' release too, but I'm referring to other LP. Sadly I can't find my spanish common copy now (I have now a chaos room full of records and books waiting for shelves) , when I find it I'll post exactly what in says in the back.

On Scorpions Internet Site there's no reference to an album released before Lonesome Crow...mistery...
