Default Black Sabbath - Hyde Park London 4/7/2014

I am not going to bore you all with a long review, but on Friday the 4th of July, i travelled to London to see Sabbath, the day was really hot, and according to various websites there was over 55,000 people there, as for the bands, here we gowith marks out of 10 beside band names)

Soulfly (6), i know the lead singer was in Sepultura before he started this band, i didn't know hardly any of their material but it was heavy and judging by the large crowd already assembled they got a very good reception.

Motorhead (7), Only a 45 minute set (including drum solo), personally to me Lemmy looked drained, sometimes struggling to hit the higher notes, but as said before, the crowd loved them, so welcome back Lemmy & co.

Faith no More (8), Love them or hate them, when a band has their roadies all dressed in white, use white amps, have flowers on stage and then dress as Vicars, you got the hits, even a cover of "Easy" with Mike Patton instructing the audience to sing and saying "Come on Metal heads don't be shy", very enjoyable.

Soundgarden (7), covered most of their superunknown CD, but as with FNM had the crowd singing.

Black Sabbath (8) , Ozzy (not as fast as his used to be) but still had the audience singing, "I can't f***** hear you" was said a few times, you had the classic Sabbath tunes (if you want to know the set list it is about somewhere on line), and an hour and 35 minutes later we had fireworks.

Personally myself, today i (maybe) have seen the last of 2 great British bands, we will see, but to attract a large crowd, which clashed with Sonisphere.

Anyway enough, thank you for reading.

Wish I was there (but money etc) - I'll see if I can treat myself to Hard Rock Hell this year...

EDIT - All sold out, damn!
