Default Demin and Leather in El Paso

Traveled to El Paso from my home in Maine for work and a co-worker told me yesterday that Saxon was playing at a Casino tonight. I've had my eye on the Motorhead/ Saxon show in Portland, Me., but now with Lemmy's health that might not happen.

I'm real excited and will throw up some notes and pictures if possible, rock on.

Default set list from 9/3 el paso

I really enjoyed the show and the set list was a total blast!! Biff mentioned before the Christopher Cross cover that the owners of the venue (a tribe resort casino a few miles from the Mexico border) made a personal request for that tune. Loved the lyrics, "..make it to the border of mexico,.." I heard that song on the radio in the 80's hundreds of times but never this good!
Biff said they played some different tunes because they were in El Paso 9 weeks ago. What a cool venue, El Paso metalheads are lucky. I believe Slayer played there not long ago, free or not what a cool venue and I have been to a lot of shows from LA to NYC.

Surprised I recall the titles, please edit any mistakes.

Nice pics.

Its a shame that the Motorhead dates are being pulled with lemmys continuing poor health. Saxon have rescheduled dates but probably some of the fans going to see Motorhead will not go and see Saxon which is a shame.

From what I've seen of Motorhead lately lemmy has looked very frail and the shows look like they are going through the motions. Saxon on the other hand have never sounded better live - sadly a lot of metal fans wont know what they are missing out on.

The gig in Maine is not with Motörhead - it's a headline gig with Armored Saint.
