I have seen them on the bombers and eagles tour in 1992 and 2008.
1992 Saxon played 75min. as supporting act, 2008 only 50min.
And the audience was always very good when Saxon was on stage

I saw them in 2008, too. It was comfortable in the first raw when Saxon were playing. But I think a lot of people came mainly for Motörhead. When Saxon finished the crowd came to the front and went crazy. I had to go back, otherwise they would have squeezed me.
But it´s OK. I know this time I will be in the front for Saxon and go to the back for Motörhead again.

I know that my thinking about is not the same as
everyone of you do. But i will never forget the official
Motorhead-DVD where this creepy punk is blaming
Saxon...
But that will be my last words about this thing...
Every one who has fun about should have it of course!!!

See ya on the road, hmthunder

For both Saxon and Motorhead (and of course Girlschool), i think this is a great package, people who know me, know Saxon are my favourite group, followed closely by Motorhead, and if people recall Motorhead gave Saxon their first taste of playing 'bigger' venues on Motorhead's Bomber tour way back in 1979, both bands have remained firm friends ever since, do people recall Maiden having Saxon support them on one of their tours (i think Fastway were also on the bill), so (some) Motorhead fans dislike Saxon, they don't have to watch, but i have been to 'gigs' where i have not been keen on the opening act, so all i did was stay away, unfortunately you will never please everyone, but before i go, one question, would people like to see Saxon support Metallica on one of their arena/stadium shows?
Please don't turn this into a free for all.......whatever group(s) you follow, remember we are all rock n roll children.

saxon played 60 minutes and the atmosphere was great.
Biff was in super mood and took pictures of the audience at the last song.
the audience sings a verse of princess of the night alone without music
from the band.
Motorhead startet with "Bomber" and the bomber rig with french flag.
Lemmy was in good shape;-)
Great evening.
