Hi Everyone.
Thought I would give you all a quick update!
Helen's new treatment will include a special type of monthly injection which strengthens the bones and supposedly makes it less likely for the cancer cells to spread.
The unfortunate side effect is that it reacts with your teeth and as Helen has weak teeth anyway, especially since the kids were born, in January she had them all removed in readiness for the treatment to start. Extremely brave of her because I hate dentists and wouldn't let anyone go near my mouth with a needle but she had to have 14 anaesthetic injections so they could remove them...ouch! On the plus side she couldn't shout at me for a week and I now call her 'gummy' . She's had her impressions done for the new teeth which can be fitted in about 2-3 weeks.

I'm updating on here because it seemed silly to start a new thread. Some of you are already aware but I just wanted to let the rest of you know that after 20 years Helen and I have parted ways.

It has been an immensely difficult few years for us both but I'm not about to go into all the reasons on here. We are still talking regularly and I will continue to be there as much as I can for her and of course the children!

I am now living in Wales and that is why I have been very quiet on here for a couple of months. Cheers

It´s always sad when a couple part ways after such a long time, whatever the reason is. I know it from myself.
All the best for you, Rick.
