Did this happen to anyone?

Doro was brilliant and Sweet savage were also good... However i didn't get to see saxon, they seemed to over sell the venue so when i went for a pint and got chatting to someone then headed back in there was people pressed up against the door so no one else could get in. Not happy at the academy at all.

Thought it seemed fuller than last time even though that was sold out too.

Absolutely stunning gig, but way too warm in there.

I really think the atmosphere last night was on a par with the Holmfirth gig last year, and it was great to hear people as they were leaving saying things like 'how come they're not bigger than they are'

Have to say that Biff was on top form with the quips and banter, which for me really add to the gig.

Was great to see some of the new material going down as well as the classics, in particular the immense 'Batallions of Steel'

Roll on the next tour, maybe in the cooler winter months??!!

had a great gig, a bit hot and sweaty like it should be, met goss and midnight rider "ride like the wind" great reaction from the crowd from a song not been played since 10th anniversary tour i think.

Mate we were caught out big time by the early start and struggled to get in during "Battalions". Clearly we made it though.

Fantastic day & gig. It's brilliant to meet up with the saxon hard core old & new.

See you at bloodstock & madrid.

I've heard a few people say about it being packed. The funny thing is that there was actualy quite a lot of room down at the front. So it seems that a lot of people were bunch up together at the back, rather than at the front, which is what usually happens.
