Megadeth/Suicidal Tendencies/Children of Bodom/Havok

Really looking forward to this show as Havok is one of my favorite newer thrash bands, Dave Lombardo is drumming for ST, and Megadeth just plain rules!

Nice line up there MN.

Just saw Exodus and Lost Society Monday night past in a small club in Belfast. Fantastic gig with quite a mix of ages. Lots of pits, diving and surfing - just like back in the 80s.

How was Lost Society? There's one of my other favorite "new" thrash bands and I'd love to see them live too, just not sure when/if they'll ever get over here to play shows in the US.

Lost Society where really good live and went down very well with a packed small club venue. Exodus seemed to have booked quite a lot of small club dates this tour (in the uk\Ireland ). That along with L.S. youthful energy made it feel like the thrash scene first time round. I was expecting a solid performance from exodus but maybe it was a combination of zetro returning and a rowdy crowd but it was fantastic. Didn't feel like a Monday night that's for sure.

I have everything by Lost Society on CD/Vinyl but the latest album is poor, not Thrash enough for me.

They were ok in Belfast but nothing spectacular, Exodus were Exodus, disappointed that Holt wasn't there.

My next gig is in a couple of weeks in Belfast, the mighty Overkill, this will be the Thrash gig of the year for sure.

I saw Sabaton a few weeks ago in Belfast and they were fantastic.
