Default Warriors of the Road Tour 2014 - Greek dates

Yet another Saxon tour has started! Being the 35th anniversary it was kind of sentimental seeing the boys outperforming once again. I won't say much, you know the standards of a Saxon show - brilliant sound, great energy and people jumping all night long. As for the setlist, most of the songs came from the holy trinity as someone would expect, I would like to hear some of the songs they don't play a lot from these albums - no complains though, Biff said they would change the set every here and there.

It was sad to hear that Nibbs will lose both the greek dates due to a personal issue. Hope everything goes well Nibbs!

Next stop, Thessaloniki!!!

Sorry to hear the sad news of Nibbs. I hope he will be back soon on the road with the boys again.
Good luck Nibbs.
And who played bass on the 2 Greek dates?

Next day was Thessaloniki, this great town in the north - did I mention it was cold out there? Tell me about it... Anyway, another great Saxon performance, the boys seemed also to like it and it's always nice to hear the "spoiler" story from Biff when Doug, Nigel and Nibbs put up a show on a bar after the 2011 Athens gig. There were some changes on the setlist from last night and the band played one more song if I count them right. This is the part where I want to personally thank the band for playing my favorite Saxon song and I got the chance to hear it once again live. Enjoy the upcoming european gigs and see the rest of you in London!
