riley, you won't be able to make it to Iowa for Rock Gone Wild? Unless they announce some more dates soon, that'll be my stop to see Saxon this year. Still holding out hope for a Minnesota show though.......

Anybody got a full set list for the ABC? I was there but a combination of loads of beer and jumping about like a crazed old fool has left me a bit sketchy - trying to work out what the 'rare' song was that they played in Glasgow.

By the way, first time at the ABC and I have to say I was impressed. I enjoyed seeing Saxon in smaller venues like the Garage but it was fantastic to see them in front of a bigger audience again (I don't count the Motorhead gig at the Academy last year as too many weren't that interested in Saxon). Maybe they can headline the Academy themselves next time around, although the sound is always crap there so I'd settle for another gig at the ABC.

Yeah, would be happy with the ABC again, or the Barra's. The Academy is bigger, but the sound ain't so good. And set list was:

1. Battlions of Steel.
2. Heavy Metal Thunder.
3. Demon Sweeny Todd.
4. Ride Like The Wind.
5. Witchfinder General.
6. Strong Arm of the Law.
7. The Letter.
8. The Valley of the Kings.
9. And the Bands Played On.
10. Hell Cat.
11. Requiem (We Will Remember).
12. 20,000 Feet.
13. Come Rock of Ages (The Circle is Complete).
14. Never Surrender.
15. Wheels of Steel.
16. Live to Rock.
17. Motorcycle Man.
18. Crusader.
19. 747 (Strangers in the Night).
20. Denim and Leather.
21. Princess of the Night.

Excellent images from an excellent gig - thanks for sharing!

Fantastic 360 degree concert shots on the website! Any from the Saxon gig?

Good to see Saxon back playing proper venues again and hopefully they'll get the revival that the UK rock scene desperately deserves?

I did take some 360 degree shots at this gig of both Doro and Saxon.

Once I get the time to edit them I'll post the link here in the forum.
