Default Saxon Live Stream from Wacken

Just had a great night watching Saxon on the live stream from Wacken, great show by Saxon and really good sound and picture on the stream. Watched and listened with the headphones on while the wife watched some soppy film, told to shut the fuck up and sit down you dickhead by her whenever I got carried away (LOL).

Hope anyone else who saw it enjoyed it as much as I did.

Hi pal,

Totally agree with your thoughts, sound and lighting excellent, and i believe a MUST for inclusion as part of the DVD come November.

In my best display of his highness Goss, the set list for the show is as follows ;
Batallians of steel
Let me feel your power
Lionheart ( for Fingers )
Strong arm of the law
Killing Ground
Metalhead
Wheels of Steel ( including the Eagle )
Unleash the Beast
Dogs of war
Rock'n'roll Gypsy
Rock the nations ( was superb )
Motorcycle Man
Forever free
Solid Ball of Rock
Crusader
Power and the Glory
Princess of the Night
Heavy Metal Thunder
Encores : -
Live to Rock
747 (Strangers in the Night )
Stallions of the Highway (great choice as i was expecting "backs to the Wall)
Denim and Leather

As you can see a great list, hopefully to be re-created in November on the tour

A great success on-line and well done to the band for pulling it off live, the crowd seemed to enjoy it.

Blimey Fingers you're right mate, what an opportunity for them to throw in my "Jericho Siren" song??

Remember at one point Biff did say that they were changing the set list, i believe it was due to time, so that might have had a bearing on it too.

I presume we will find out in the fullness of time

Mmm would agree mate but they have been playing something off Destiny most of this tour.

And Jericho Siren is what I voted for

great setlist, but im disappointed saxon didnt stick to the vote,, jericho siren , where the lightning strikes or red alert from destiny would have been brilliant,,,and need for speed from inner sanctum which there no song from either,,,,yet theres 3 from wheels of steel ,freeway mad would have been great to hear ,why play 3 from wheels when we could only vote for one song from it,and a couple from strong arm of the law, i love those songs but i felt this could have been so much better ,, maybe saxon will include the others on another show and film it too
